I would compare the four forces by the strength in which they interact with matter and I was surprised to learn that gravity was relatively the weakest, since it keeps everything grounded here on earth, the earth moving around the sun and the moon moving around the earth. Seems like quite a force to me. The idea that every object in the universe exerts a gravitational force on everything else is another aspect that reveals the interdependent nature of our universe.
